Computer Vision Engineers / Several Posts Available

We are looking to fill a number of posts to expand our core computer vision team to work on the ongoing development of our mobile visual search platform. Successful candidates will get to work on both pre-production R&D projects and production software for deployment with customers.

Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

A strong grounding in a broad range of image processing and computer vision techniques
Up to date theoretical understand and practical experience of feature based image matching
A strong grasp of linear mathematics and linear and non-linear optimisation
An understanding of multi-view projective geometry
At least 3 years of practical application of computer vision techniques in solving real world problems in industry or academia
A highly level of competence in C and C++

The following skills and experience are not essential to us but would provide you with an advantage:

A relevant post-graduate qualification
Experience with linear algebra libraries such as BLAS and LAPACK
Experience of using Intel's Integrated Performance Primitives Library
Java development experience
GPU programming in languages such as OpenCL and CUDA
Experience of working in a start-up environment

Software and IT / Several Posts Available

We are looking to fill a number of posts to expand our software and operations team to work on the ongoing development and operation of our mobile visual search platform. Successful candidates will get to work on both backroom development projects and production deployments with customers.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a strong track record of excellence in two or more of the following areas, and be keen to gain exposure to the others:

Server side software development in java - JDBC, NIO, JNI
Linux C++ development, Intel IPP
Mobile platform development:
- iOS, Android, Blackberry, WP7, and beyond
- camera APIs in particular
Web application development frameworks and technologies
Linux operations and sysadmin
DBA - in particular MySQL

In addition it would be a significant advantage for candidates to have experience of:

Source control, issue tracking, change management, build tools
Software engineering fundamentals - OO and concurrency in particular
Agile development methodologies
Customer support and operations
Working in a start-up environment
